Pamela Mesmer /LADC

Pamela is the Executive Director at the Discovery Center, and is the Program Director of the Intensive Outpatient Alcohol/Drug Treatment Program. Pam is an addictions counselor with over 21 years experience. She worked for Mercy Hospital for seven years in a very successful outpatient alcohol/drug treatment program in Omaha. She left in 1993 to start her own program, The Discovery Center.

Fred Mesmer / LADC, ACRPS

Fred is the Program Director of the relapse prevention program at The Discovery Center. Fred, while experienced as a primary treatment counselor, spends his time conducting the Relapse Prevention Treatment Program at The Discovery Center. He worked for Methodist Hospital (Eppley Treatment Center and then Richard Young Hospital) for nine years as a Relapse Prevention Counselor until he retired in 1995 to join Pamela on the staff of The Discovery Center.

Amy Crabtree

Amy is the Office Manager, and is the force that keeps things running smoothly at The Discovery Center.  She makes the appointments, does the typing, answers the telephone, and keeps the files up to date along with a hundred other things to keep the rest of the Staff on schedule.

Don Dunn / M.A., M. Div.

In addition to the counseling staff, we are proud to have Don associated with us.. 

Don has been with us since the beginning of The Discovery Center, and is the person that confers with our clients as they complete the 5th Step portion of the program.
